Snowman Story
By Elizabeth Tanner

Drip, drop, drip. I was sitting on my bed, listening to the sound of icicles. My cat, Grapes, was on my lap, purring. I was in the mood for having a snowball fight, but
no other kid my age lived on Evey blvd. So, I decided to build a snowman. I got some snow gear on and was outside in a flash. I started to make the first ball, when out of nowhere, came Grapes. She pounced on my snowball twice, then with
a quick yelp, jumped off. Her glistening green eyes gave me an idea. In less than 30 seconds, I came out of the house with two, gigantic limes for the eyes. In about 20 minutes, the snowman was done. It had two limes for the eyes, a pea pod for the mouth, and a carrot for the nose. It wore a purple hat, a striped scarf with matching mittens, and a navy blue starry vest. That afternoon, the snowman came to life! It was so amazing, I couldn't even speak! The only problem was that the weather report was, according to the news lady, “sunny and warm all weekend.” I had to get my snowman somewhere before it was too late! So,
I decided to build a giant refrigerator. When I showed the snowman her new home, she seemed to really like it. But, a few months later, a tornado hit. It wasn't strong enough to do a lot of damage, but it was enough to destroy the snowman's refrigerator house. When the horrible storm was over, I asked the boss at Ramona's Table if they could keep the snowman there, in the freezer room as a tourist attraction. The boss said yes! Now, from time to time, I still visit my snowman to this day. The end.

What Am I?

I used to be a big blob, but somebody turned me into a vase. I am getting really hot in here. So hot, i'm getting all stiff. I can be anything you want! After I am done, the only thing I'll have to worry about is shattering into peices.
